    Dang, that puppy is thick!
Those multiple layers are gonna' be a hassle for sure. I reckon a window is do-able but it would require a lot of effort and some really thick plexi to make it look nice.
My initial thought is you would have to trim away as much as possible from the inner layer, and put the plexi in the outer layer.
But it may be more effort than it's worth:eek:
I wonder how much Plexi-glass that thick would set you back?

That curved surface is really going to be a major pain

    There there, Grim Reaper.
I'm sure there is a case out there somewhere that suits your needs and can be modded to taste.
At least you didn't get yourself this one that doesn't.

just a thought...what about aluminium case window kits? are they any thicker than standard window kits?

The biggest drawback to whatever materials you use will be the curved outer surface of that case, unless you want to go with the "raised port-hole effect". It will be a troublesome task to get a window to sit flush with the surface of the case.

what do you mean by 'curved outer surface of the case'...where abouts the curved surface? i can't seem to see any from the pics...

It appears to me anyways that the side panels are slightly higher in the center, sloping outward to the edges.

A flat panel is going to be much easier to add a window to and will probably look better without a lot of additional labor that the ****oured type case would involve.

I imagine all that could be overcome, by using a series of small windows, instead of a single large pane in each section:?:

I was doin' a search thru old news posts as I remembered these cases but alas the New Zealand site MyRig is now history but I do remember that some stores over there were goin' to be carrying these cases so it maybe a good be to try some of them and you maybe in luck.
I prefer the look and expandability of this one though. :smokin:

I have run across sellers on eBay that ship those internationally, so I guess for some the global marketplace is alive and well.

Wish that came in a 6x51/4 bay model:(
