It might do but I'm not fitting the USB panel as it will look rubbish with gaps at the sides of it on the front of the case.

Also there is no bracket to fit the USB panel to the 3.25" bay.

Talking about bits that come with things that you buy..... i'm sure that could have been worded better. I recently bought a Seagate baracuda 500gb hdd from amazon and it came in a bag. No Sata cable... no mounting screws... no guarantee... no boxing or paperwork or instructions. It came in a bag. Eh? surely this can't be right is it?

yep as long as it was a sealed anti static bag. Thats how all OEM hdd's come unless you by retail, then you will get a box and paper work. The hdd should still have a warranty OEM or retail

have some good news and some bad news. I got the new i7 3770K and the new SSD so that is the new computer built but I installed windows 7 last night and it keeps freezing. I only have the SSD pluged in, not the HDD for the installation of Win7. The computer froze while half way through the installation and i had to start again. Then when i got win up and running it keeps freezing. The mouse stops, the keyboard stops and I can do nothing but manually reset it. Help! I've just updated the firmware for the SSD and it hasn't frozen again but i've only had it on for a short period yet. Also i had pluged in my HDD now but it isn't recognising it. Do i have to do something in the BIOS to register it or should it show in win explorer automatically? Cheers.

Just a little side note after reading your issues about installing win7. With SSD's it is suggested to do a Secure Erase to erase the data off of them. A regular format will remove data but it wont reset the SSD to "Like New" conditions. I followed these steps for doing a secure erase on my drive it is very fast and simple How to securely erase an SSD drive | How To - CNET. After you figure things out and get the system running properly you may want to do a secure erase and start over just to a good running SSD.

Cheers mate. I think that kind of stuff is over my head tbh. I had a quick read of it and i wouldn't know what i was doing if i tried that. Is this kind of thing common with SSD's?
