The volcano 7+ is supposed to be a little better than the volcano 9 but the volcano 9 has it's fans. Will you have case fans in it? Usually you are better off spending a little more money on a true ATI graphics card.

Other than it's an Intel gaming rig , nice :D

Yep the Lian Li has case fans although i don't know if I'll use them, probable depends on wheather they are needed.

What do you mean by a true ATI graphics card?

he means one manufactured by ati. Saphire ATI cards Are OEM, I think. Personally, I would go with the Gigabye 9700...has heatsinks on the fans, and come bundle with software. You get more for very little less! :p

I agree with PGA, Iwould go with the 7+ Volcano...it has adjustable speeds, which is nice!

I would bust up your enermax psu to a 430. The 9700 will needs it...it is a power hog. I think with the 350 you will be cutting it close!

Also if you get the Abit SR7-8X mobo, make sure you have the latest and great bios update downloaded...b/c you will not be able to, or will have a lot of trouble with 9700 and that mobo. I think it is a beta bios, but it makes the SR7-8X compatible with the radeon 9700. Look at the formums at Rage3d.com for more info!!

But otherwise...it is a nice looking box :bounce: : party ha

the Creative 5300's are nothing special as far as sound quality goes - look at something from ALtec Lansing or Logitech - for equivalent money you'll get better sounding speakers.
(unless you want a used set - I have one sitting iin my basement collecting dust :thumbs do )
