i'm gonna upgrade my video card very soon, i've decided to go for the Leadtek Winfast GF4 series, but this where i get stuck.

    I don't know which i should get:
    A250 LE - GF4 4200 128 Meg My VIVO - $355
    A250 - GF4 4400 128 Meg My VIVO - $410
    <s>A250 Ultra - GF4 4600 128 Meg My VIVO</s> - out of my price range :(

Does the extra performance of the GF4 4400 warrant the extra $55 over the GF4 4200?

Could the GF4 4200 OC to the speed of the 4400 or 4600?

Usually you can get the 4200 to OC to be about equal to the 4600.
New Sig soon, old one was way outdated.

I've got the 1st one on ya list and it was $340aus at Nth. Rocks yesterday (a bargain and about $380-$390 I think for the next but I wasn't payin' to much attention to them.). ;)
Whatever price I've found online lately Nth. Rocks has bettered in most cases by makin' the trip well worthwhile (well for me anyway). :thumb:

i went to northrocks yesterday, but at the time i was thinking of going towards the A250 and A250 ultra and didn't take notice of the prices of the A250LE, but after thinking about it at home (when we got back :( ) the A250 Ultra seemed to me like too much of a waste of money :(

now, i was thinking about it last night and i've decided to go with the A250 LE (GF4 Ti 4200)

Yeah I figured the A250 LE GF4 4200 128MB My VIVO was all I needed and with the features plus software bundle it's all you could want in a package anyway for the price.

I would say that the 4200 is a good choice. Nice card :thumb:
