Ok, in my computer at the moment I have samsung 256mb of pc2100 133mghtz ddr.

I was thinking of buying 512mb of kingston ddr pc2700 at 333 mghtz for $138....is this worth the upgrade? Remember that I am poor as well, so im trying to get the best bang for my buck if you get what I mean.

Well, PC2100 is 266 and in my opinion its not worth the upgrade if you are not going to upgrade anything else like a mobo (which would prolly be the only reason why).

EPoX, Abit, or ASUS nForce 2 motherboards. You can't go wrong...you hvae good stabilty, great overclocking capabilities...dual channel memory which get your memory and doubles its bandwith increasing your memory's performance.

Abit, ePox, or AOpen. In that order.

Those of you who know my preferences may notice the ePox slot used to be that of Asus... yeah... Asus lost.
