or the Epox 8RDA+....probably a few $$'s cheaper
I can get one for $178cdn from my supplier

whatever Mfg'r you decide upon - it has to be based on the nForce2 chipset to have the features you're looking for

    $1usd = $1.55cdn

so $150usd for the Asus board would be about $232cdn

Epox are usually quite a bit cheaper than Asus - but Asus usually gets the new stuff out faster :thumb:

at least in the Toronto area

...always like B.C. better myself, Vancouver used to just be an hour away...oh well

which brand really comes down to a matter of personal prefernce...but it's the nforce2 that you are going to want

It's all personal preference, but I don't know if I'd decide on a MB by the color of it. :hammer:

I just got the GA-7VAX and it came 'bad', I'm still waiting for the resaler to send me a good one. I've heard a couple stories like that, not sure If I'll go Gigabyte too often.

I've got an old abit BE6, that's still pumpin away, no problems.

the soltek nforce2 board is at NCIX (in BC) for $158 cdn - I've never used a soltek but it seems like a deal - may be worth checking out some reveiws
for comparison, the Asus board is $199cdn

    plus - if you're into colours it's bright yellow:D
