    Hey all, do you think this case would be reliable?

    I wouldn't go near it with a 10' pole as the case has virtually no fresh air intake at the front (what it has I'd never call an intake) which means ****ty case coolin'. :thumbs do

    It might be workable if it at least had some side fans to bring in extra air, but I don't see any. :thumbs do

    The Platinum XP is a very nice case. You'll notice from my sig that I have that case on one of my systems. I've had no problem with cooling. I have a non-overclocked AMD 1800XP with retail hsf and temps idle low 40s and under load high in the high 40s. Do a search on google and read some reviews.

    Maybe where you are but over here in the heat they're absolutely next to useless unless a couple of well placed side fans are used. : peace2:

    I'm putting a window in the side and will be getting the window that has a fan mount in it. I'm also going to put a fan mount in the top of the case for a blow hole.

    Yep... solid airflow for cooling but a bit too happy with the windows for my taste.
