    i need sonething....

dunno what i want though, but these micro all-in-one systems are looking good

FIC FIC IC-VG61 or Shuttle SN41G2 XPC

    p4 vs. amd

the fic looks way kewl, and has a LOT of modding potential, whereas the amd has dual monitor support w/o an extra card

do i really care if it has dual monitor? well, sorta
i've always wanted to use a dual display, but never got around to it

i've been looking around for some reviews on these and the most i have seen is simply tech specs on either of them, even if the atricle was meant to be a review it hardly went into any details

the easy thing about these is all i need to do is add a cpu/hsf/ram/hdd, and cdrw to make a complete sytem (about $350 on top of the price) - i have everything else

this time around i dont' want to go through the hassle of finding all the parts wondering if i bought the right parts and maybe skimping on things that i know i want but can't afford

i want to keep the total cost under $500-600, these offer that chance

so - which of these is better and why?

Try the link below and serch for [sff]. Just the 3 letters. It means small form factor. I got 100 results.

I like this one. Seems to have everything I need, Micro-ATX (it's for a portable machine) and has every feature my present board has, minus only ones I don't use (i.e.=Second LAN, extra PCI slots and FireWire)
It should be here tomorrow, and I have this case for it:

    Wordbiker Ė Looks very nice.

What is the external dimensions? How about weight, say before and/or after components added.

So where do I find such a case?

    How many watts?

What is the maker that I might search for it myself?

Any suggestions for finding a good micro ATX (socket A) motherboard. I will add a nice new 8X AGP video card and PCI sound card to stay current with gaming (etc.) software, so I donít care about onboard video and sound, though it seems like they all have it anymore. I like AMD for over-clocking and price per performance, but I would consider another CPU but only for very compelling reasons.
