SETI@home, http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/learnmore.html, http://forums.tweaktown.com/showthre...&threadid=6716 and TT team link in my sig. ;)

[b]and wotz da diff between OEM and non-OEM?
OEM refers to Original Equipment Manufacturers and parts listed as such are not packed in retail boxes, have shorter warranties plus may not be supplied with software (eg, CDRW drive with no burning software). Some OEM hardware is quite fine though items such as motherboards will likely have no overclocking abilities.

Having a spare part or two doesn't hurt, even if they're slower. You have an extra if you lose a part, or end up building a system for someone. Typically, there's enough stuff lying around here that we usually don't need to pick up much if we need to put together a system.

spare parts are dangerous! especially when youre a SETI addict.
So you got a spare duron for testing purposes, you buy some extra parts untill it turns into a XP2100+ monster thats sole purpose is to crunch SETI, and than you got this spare duron again....
next thing you know you crunchin more WUs than Wiggo, well almost. :shh:
