I wrote a small asp program. I need to change the DB file permission to run it.

I m using win2k before. you can right-click on the file and choose security to give "everyone" the full permission to use the DB file.

Right now, I have winxp prof. installed. And when i right-click on the file, the security option is not there. I don't know how to change the permission of the file.

    any1 knows, please help....

By default, WinXP enables Simple File Sharing to make it more user friendly, but in your case, you want it disabled so you can custamize the permissions. Go to control panel > Folder Options, View tab, and disable simple file sharing, its at the very bottom of that list.
