Not all tweak guides are perfect. Have you tried to undo all the changes you made? Otherwise just do a clean install. It takes a few minutes, but that would probably solve your problems. If the problem still exists you can be pretty sure it's a hardware problem. (I think)

No offence, but if you're using one of my tweak guide (Reformat to Relax or Relax to Righteous) then they don't have anything which will cause rebooting or freezing of your PC.

Flamingbanana's last post indicates something to do with the hardware configuration being at fault, or a faulty or overheating CPU.

I honestly doubt this is related to any of the tweaks.

Perhaps I should have said "Not all tweak guides, except the ones from TT members, are perfect"
I used your your guides and they worked liked a charm.
Perhaps you could add a line to you guides: DO NOT INSTALL SP 1 unless you are having problems. It slowed by pc down dramaticly. Boot up took about 2 minutes. I uninstalled it and now it takes just 1 minute.
But to get back to the point; your guides are great.

The Aspi32 error mesg is listed so many times I lost count.

I'm not a software dude but I do know that aspi32 deals with burners, scanners and SCSI and most likely in your case the problem is with ya burning software so uninstallin' and reinstallin' it may cure the prob.

I have disabled the Burner CD Drive and will see if that fixes it.

Disabling ya burner will in no way affect the software that is installed which is why I said to uninstall and then reinstall ya burning software.

If it is a software related problem, it may not be a bad idea to do a registry clean after you uninstall to remove any invalid keys. You can pick up one or both of these great programs:

    Ashampoo WinOptimizer

    RegCleaner

I'm sure the uninstall and reinstall procedure would work w/o the registry cleaning (provided it will solve the problem in the first place), but what the heck...it couldn't hurt anything either at this point.

    Anyhow, just a thought.

    Good luck!

What CD burning software are you running?

    Nero?

    Roxio?

That might help us out ...

I am currently using Nero. I have uninstalled it and the problem still persists...
