G'day all. A simple request but can't recall how this is done. A search didn't reveal much either.
I need to know how to back up the favourites folder and address book without using the backup wizard.
    Thanks fellas.

what browser and mail client are you using?

MSIE favorites can be found here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\*UserName*\Favorites

OE addresses cn be exported to a single file:
    -open address book
    -click 'File'
-Select 'Export' --> 'Address Book (WAB)'

the address book OE uses is also the main system address book and can be found under Start Menu\Programs\Accessories - Address Book as well
I've gone too far and need to move on!

IE6 and outlook express in XP.
If I just copy the fav folder to a floppy, will that work?

sure, copy the folder or just the contents...it doesn't matter

just copy the files back into the same place when you want to use them
