Thread: TweakUI won't remember to Auto-Logon...help

    Everytime I use the TweakUI auto-logon option, it remembers to auto-logon only for the immediate reboot after setting the option. If I boot again after that, it will prompt for password. I then have to open TweakUI again, and tell it to auto-logon again...

    Anybody have any ideas?

    go to start --> run
    type control userpasswords2 and press enter.
    in the next window that pops up, uncheck the box saying "Users must enter...". click on ok.

    alright...if it is already unchecked then check that check box in that control userpasswords2...and click ok.
    once you clicked ok, uncheck it and click on ok.
    it will ask you for a user to login automatically.
    enter user and password.
