Thread: My Harddrive is missing from Disk Management! WTF?

    I know I have a harddrive!!! hehe
    But when I go to Disk Management (in Computer Management), its not listed!! But when I check Disk Defragmenter (one above Mandgement) It shows up. What gives?
    I only got 1 harddrive in that sucker, hooked up to Pri IDE chanel. any ideas?

    see that you have not got "Logical Disk Manager" service disabled in services.msc

    what about its dependencies "Plug and Play" and "Remote Procedure Call".
    also see whether "Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service" is started or not.
    go to event viewer and see whether there is any error under system section.
    its most prolly related to a service issue.

    Also no errors listed. :cry:

    I really dont want to reinstall!
