    you *star* :D
thanks, I'll go hunt for those.....
been having fun the last day or so, as new hard-disk and windows and system not very stable - ie connection worked when "router"ed, but not when directly connected?! anyway, I think our ISP is infected as we got caught again when trying to reinstall windows due to f*d up hard-disk and then trying to install the patch, but fingers crossed all is stable for the moment.....

i don't use any of them 'cos i use evolution
but as far as recommending is concerned...if you like fancy and funny stuff you can go with incredimail (and no it doesn't contain spyware as i used to think...thanx to Chezman29).
if you like keeping things simple and straight...i have heard some good things about Eudora.

I like Thunderbird myself. It doesn't have any extra bells and whistles, but it is a solid email client

It also includes a spell-checker, which unlike Outlook and Outlook Express doesn't require any other software to use.
I've gone too far and need to move on!

I like writing over hot chicks on my email is all!!! LOLOLOL

Incredimail if fun. My wife liked how you can make it sound like a type writer as you are typing an email and some other stuff. So I just left it on and have used it ever since.

It is extremely easy to configure. Ie, entering in your pop3 and stuff. So, that means it is also easy for me to explain to others how to configure it.

So for ease of use, with great graffics, that is why I recommend it.
Face it, email sucks in my opinion, so why not make it a little fun and add some graffics or backrounds without having to do hardly any work at all, type and send.

Half the reason I don't use some software is cause I am too lazy to figure it out. Even if it is simply. Incredimail is click and send with tons of EASY fun features.

THAT WAY I don't have to hear my wife say "Honnnnnnnnn I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Chez

Not to mention I got a butler that tells me when I have mail!!! ;)
