    I was wondering how to change the names of the Users folders in C:\Documents and Settings. I tried renaming the users folder but when I restart it creates another one. The reason i want to do this is beacause I set up my coworkers computers and put dumb user names for people and I can rename the users but I can't rename their folders.

    Thanks in advance!

    well what you want to do requires loads of registry changes and i would recommend that you stop putting those dumb names in the first place ;)

    but if you still want to do all this then go ahead like this
    login to the user you want to change the properties for and rename the account. then...

    start --> run --> regedit
    navigate to key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

    now you know wat to do :)
