Hi, xp does not let me in. I tried the xp boot and it checks configuration. Then this error message says "file/biosinfo.inf error code is 4106 bios setting" I have no idea what this means. I just got the xp cd but haven't tried it yet. Any ideas. Going crazy.

you are trying to install winXP, right? unless you have a rather old PC it would be easier (and faster) to just boot off the CD instead of floppies. You can set your PC to boot off a CD in the BIOS if it's not already set to do so.
I've gone too far and need to move on!

The computer starts. Then it jumps to install diskettes. I tried "shift and tab" and four options come out, none work. Then I tried F8 and three options come out 1. 3 1/2 2. cdrom 3. LN something. Any more ideas would help. Thanks

That sounds like either the BIOS is not compatible with XP or ya it's configured wrong. Some details of the hardware ya usin' would help.
