    Some how my ram messed up my windows...when i start my computer it says...corrupted windows/system32/config/system..and tells me to use the original cd for repair..once in repair i am clueless what to do. Please help.
    CPU: Opteron 165 @ 311x9 - 2817.8 mhz - 1.47v
    Mobo: Abit KN8-SLI
    RAM: 2x512 Crucial Ballistic Tracers500 @ 202 mhz 2-2-2-5 T1
    GFX: Asus EAX1950pro @ 648/1408
    PSU: Thermaltake 500w
    SC: Audigy 2 zs
    LCD: 22' Samsung 225bw
    Speakers: Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Ultra
    Mouse: Logitech G5

    when you go into 'repair', are you going into the Recovery Console, or are you trying to do a repair install?

    I went into repair console, which one am i suppose to go to?

    the console isn't much good unless you know what you're doing. Best thing to do would be to go through the repair install, then reapply all your patches / service packs for windows.

    Yea i figured that out, but ...somehow..i formatted both my drives..and now i am left with nothing..except this bloody aol...
