Thread: SahAgent - can it be removed?

    I ran MSCONFIG and noticed that there was a file called SahAgent in the Startup folder.
    Ran Spybot, it found it and removed it, but then I was unable to open Internet Explorer. I can Restore back to an earlier point, everything is fine.
    Is this a MS product that should be there or have I got a deep worm?

    Definitely NOT an MS product.

    As described in the link below, this agent resides deep in the WinSock - it has to be removed very carefully or you will indeed lose your internet connection or application which SaHAgent installed to;

    Good Luck :)
