i got Windows Xp from the beginning running on my pc.
It is a origenel version.Last monday i woke up en ther was a logo on the right site of my desktop.
    Its said.
    Windows Xp Proffesionel.Test use only.
That means that i got a ilegal version.
But thats is not true.I got a legal version.I bot it myself in a store.
i'have been struggeling to get rit of it but it wil not go away.
Can some one help me with this.

    thx

did you buy a boxed version or just a CD?
it seems that you have been taken for a ride and the guy at store has given you an illegal copy.

Correct, there should be no such logo on any proper version of WindowsXP. Take it back to the store and demand a legitimate copy on a proper Microsoft CD (with the holograms etc.). If he refuses, say you will report him to Microsoft - they have a piracy hotline you can contact here.

i am 100% sure that i got a real version.
with the holograms and activation code.and if i reinstall windows xp more than 10 times than i have to make a call to MS so they can activate it for me.It allready happens twice that i had to make a call to MS for activation. That why its so strange that i got this logo.

any idea if this is an OEM version of one with full support...if you got one with full support I'd recommend to contact MS again, they should be able to help you without any costs involved

if it is OEM...bummer, MS will charge 50 euros ( ) so that won't be an option (I think)
    Tomorrow today will be yesterday.
