I am unable to connect to the logical disk manager on my machine. I am the only user, and I am the administrator. When I try to connect to the disk manager through "computer managment" in "administrator tools" I get the error message "You do not have access rights to logical disk manager". How can I fix this?

have you by any chance disabled it in 'services' in the administrative tools folder

No, it's not disabled, it just isn't started up. I am trying to start it from within the administrator tools - computer management console.

both logical disk manager and logical disk manager admin are enabled [either set as manual or automatic in Admin tools services]? and it won't run?

    something sounds fishy to me.
