One HD per license is all you're legally allowed to do.
    AMD XP 2600+
    SOYO Dragon 400
    1 gig 3200 DDR
    Phillips CD/RW
    Pioneer DVD -/+ RW
2-60 gig HD in RAID, 1 60 gig backup

Install it on as many as you want, you may only have one copy in use at a time. Changing HDs or computers will almost always require you to reactivate, which is easy.

How about 1 hard drive, one computer same hardware but multi booted ??

I have Windows Xp on one partition, Wnidows ME on another, and Mandrake 9.2 on another. What if I want to upgrade the ME portion to XP to try some different configuration settings THERE before I try them on the main system?

Only 1 license is really running at one time. has system comander that allows you to multiboot to many operating systems and at the time of boot, shift the "active" bootable status to that particular partition. ie. when I boot to windows me, my ME drives sees itself as C:

    Just wondering...

Other thing I might try is to put the lo nghorn on the me portion and see if it will upgrade with the drivers. It's pretty pitiful in driver files.

the same copy one more than one partition in the same computer should be fine. Although it will probably say that it has been activated too many times if you get in the habit of formating and installing it often in that manner. But since it it using the same hardware it shouldn't be a problem when you call up M$ to get it activated
I've gone too far and need to move on!
