Thread: System is shutdown randomly by "NtAUTHORITY"

    The system will show a window and say the system is beign shutdown, and it gives me 1 minute to close all programs. I have had this thing before on my other computer, and I think it was rather easy to get rid of. If i remember correctly, it is an old common virus, however, norton picks nothing up durign a full system scan in safe mode.

    If you need to stop the shutdown box, just go to Start - Run - 'shutdown -a' (without the 's)

    But, as mentioned, the other thread will help.
