    deleting those .avi tutorials in Windows 95 freed up nearly 7Mb!!

    I didn't need the HDD space. for me it's more of a anoyance. I can't stand it when people play f****** solitare on my machine:barf: It's like using a porsche to get grocies:rofl:

    I remember when I had to use 2 floppy disks because I had no hard drive.

    My XT was originally like that, with two 5 1/4" drives, but we eventually got a HDD, and upgraded from Monochrome to CGA!

    God what did you guys use them machines for back then..

    My first PC was powered by a fast 25Mhz processor and around 30Mb of hdd space, no cd though which I added later.

    I know I was kinda late into the game.. Before this I used an Amiga 500 which had extended memory!
    It sure was an awesome gaming computer at the time..

    Games. :) Also had a word processor and dot matrix printer.

    Yeah mine started with 2 x 5.25" floppies but I soon changed that to 2 x 3.5" floppies and then an 8MB (I'm nearly sure that it was that size) HDD though yes there were some good games around for that era.
