    I'd like to open internet explorer with winkey+I. Is that possible to configure?

    Is winkey+e opens explorer.

    I haven't seen a way to reconfigure the keyboard shortcuts. Perhaps you could find software which lets you reconfigure them, but that software would always have to run in the background for the new shortcuts to work.

    Yea, there are a boatload of programs that let you do that, many of them call themselves 'macro' programs that let you even bind recorded mouse movements, key presses, etc, etc to hotkeys...

    EZ Macros is my fav...
