Hello everyone. I have a question here trying to discern if this is possible.

I am trying to determine if it is possible to map a virtual drive so that it shows up as a paging file.

Here is what I have discovered so far.

    1. It looks as though the drives listed in the paging file are taken from the system information applet.

    2. all of the drives that show in the paging file have a fixed media option listed in the system information.

    3. Is is possible that the drives which show up in the paging file take properties from the HAL?

    Thanks for your feedback.

    So, to clarify...

Are you trying to create a mapped network drive (Is this what you mean by virtual drive?) on a PC and use that drive to store the page file? Freeing the MB/GB the page file usually takes up?
