    Hi,

I thought NTFS was fairly safe, until a friend brought NTFS reader over one night, and could all my files.

Is there a way to block this?

    Thanks.

    Cheers,

    Johnny.

You can read NTFS files that aren't encrypted... You haven't set your files to be encrypted.

What makes NTFS so much safer is its ability to encrypt certain files, system files being included. You have to enable it to encrypt others

Cool. I see now. I'll encrypt the files which I don't want anyone to see.
