    Hi all

Ok this is the problem im having first off im running XP i have 4 partionsion's EG
    C main 10gig NTFS
    D Apps 30 FAT32
    E mp3 40 Fat32
    F Games 40 Fat32

now when i go to explorer to check out what drive letters i have this is what i see above.

So now i go to format C in dos but when in comes up showing that its strarting to format it shows that its formatting the 30GIG drive which is th Apps one so i now go into fdisk to check things out and it shows

    C Apps
    D Mp3
    E Games

So how do i go about reformatting or getting back my 10GIG partion so i can format it and reinstall XP??

Can anyone hepl me on this please

    Thanks.

DOS will not see the NTFS partition (well actually it will see it as a non-logical partition to which it can do nothing with so it'll see your FAT32 D: partition as the logical C: partition).
Boot with the XP CD and go into the repair console and format the C: partition that way then reinstall XP.
