For some reason I can't explain, everytime I right click on a video file or audio file of any format (.avi,mp3,etc.) and try to choose a player for it, the screen suddenly goes blank for about a second, then reappears and I am able to right click the file and play the file with the player I choose! (I usually have to OPEN it again if it is in a folder, though) I have had this problem for awhile now and cannot figure out what it is! I have win xp pro with SP2 release candidate 1 installed, but I had these problems BEFORE SP2rc1 (EVEN with a brand new reformat) , so I don't think that the SP2rc1 is the problem!
    Here are my specs:

Souns like it could be something with your video card. Sometimes small things like that don't display properly if you don't have good drivers. Uninstall your current ones, then install the latest Catalysts.
