    Default Xp Pro

    Hope this is in the right spot But anyways just wondering if i have a illegal copy of XP PRO here,I had it loaded on over win ME never thought much of it but i cleaned off my hard drive (Formated) and wen't to do a clean install of
    XP PRO,I get to the legal agreement press F8 if you agree and nothing happens.Ive tried it with other cd roms thinking it was that but still the same.
    Or is there something im not doing right? Thanks to who replies

    Well if it's an illegal copy i guess i got hosed for 75 bucks

    Media might be toast too. It isn't common but can happen from time to time. But out of curiosity, where did you get the OS for $75?

    No i don't have it over clocked im running ME right now and for the other ? you can buy just the cd with out support of coarse .

    So you bought it OEM? At $75 it may not be legit. Even Newegg sells their OEM XP Pro at $141 and they tend to be one of the lowest prices around.

    I'd believe $75 for OEM, I've seen some really good deals on them before.

    well it looks like every one is more concerned what i paid for it than what i was acually asking about so here it is again when i get to licence agreement press F8 to agree nothing happens duz that mean it's a boagus OS.

    No, but its possible your CD is bad, you have a hardware fault, or the CD you bought was messed up, quite possibly by whoever you got it from.
