I have an old PC, it a P3 933 Mhz, MSI MS-6154VA motherboard, 256 MB of RAM and 40 GB Samsung HD. The PC works fine with Windows ME. But when I try to upgrade to Windows XP Pro, the installer runs fine on the first phase (the one with blue screens) on which I formated the disk with NTFS. Then, when the installer reboots, I get a "Verifying DMI Pool Data..." message and then an "Error loading operating system" message.

I just updated the BIOS to the latest version available on MSI's web page, but the problem persists. Any suggestions?
