    Default Resetting My Computer Name

okay, my dumb brother decided to change my computer name unbeknownst to me. I have no idea what it was to begin with, but we just got a wireless router and he was effin around with my comp to changes settings n wutnot to make his laptop able to send docs to my comp's printer. But newho, i have norton internet security, and because my computer name has been changed, my access privileges are gone. I can't uninstall, i change the properties, i can't access certain webpages where i hafta log in, because i no longer have enough "access rights" So am i effed. Or is there a way to change my comp name so i can regain control of my freakin' computer?

    Thanx
    Addison

Of course you can't leave the computer name blank... The computer has to have a name. Why are you trying to leave it blank?

If you don't know what the name was to begin with, there's not much we can do about that.

Can you uninstall Norton Internet Security? I'd recommend doing that regardless of any problems you have. It's a gbad program that does much more harm than good 99% of the time, and the free alternatives are much better.
