    Default Windows 2000 install

    Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this I just had a new hardrive
installed on my computer, I was installing windows 2000 so I left the pc and went out for about an hour. When I got back to finish the install off the screen was
blank so I moved the mouse in case it had gone into screensaver still nothing.
Then I pressed the enter button and it made some sort of beeping noise still nothing, I then reset it still nothing.

    Thanks in advance

I would start again and stay by the machine, it sounds as though the install may have needed a user confirmation for something and not receiving it has somehow frozen.

I would just as a fresh start sounds like the install is corrupted for some reason or other. If not fdisk then at least format c:

    try a different CD
-and/or- make sure all of the cable are connected properly
    -and/or- clean your CD-ROM
