I'm the new guy so hello to everyone!!!

I still have choppy playback on my DVD (Creative 6X). I have set my DMA settings on my DVD player in the device manager properties, but I'm wondering if it needs to be tweaked in the XP registry also? In W2k I had to tweak the regisrty to get my DVD to run smooth and I was wondering if its the same in XP?

If so can someone be so kind has to tell me how to navigate to the right area in the regisrty for I have forgotten. :hammer:

UR software may be an older version. If you are running PowerDVD 2.0/2.5 (or rebadges like AsusDVD) you will get really crap DVD performance no matter what you do.
