Default Some first time help please

So here it is: I just finished building the new computer. Installed Windows XP Home then upgraded to Professional. Everything was fine. Then I installed all the drivers and utilities that came with the motherboard (Asus P5GD2 Deluxe). A this point I was pretty excited that things were finally working after a week or so, and I started poking around. On the temperature gauge that Asus provided was a little button labeled "NOS", probably because it was following the car scheme for the gauges. Anyway, clicked it then restarted. Upon restart it went only a few seconds into the windows start up and then automatically restarted again and showed the boot problem screen and let me pick "start mode", "normal", or "last good configuration". All the options cause the same thing and go back to that screen again. Booting from a CD gives a blue screen stop error. Is there a way to get previous settings back? Or a way to just format the hard drive and start over without getting back into windows? Thanks for reading this and thanks for any help you can give.

I tried re-installing windows using a different hard drive. It resulted in another blue stop error screen, which leads me to believe that I might need to change the Bios. Is this a good assumption? How would I fix that if that was the problem? Or what else would fix this problem? Thanks again.

Use the reset jumper to clear CMOS, and you should be good to go.
