using RIS, when the RIS server has an image............do the clients have to be the exact same to use this image, same hardware etc........ or can this image be used for any workstation?

What makes you think his requests are piracy-related? Remote Installation has nothing to do with piracy and is not something you'd see a lot of Windows pirates use.

anyways to people with knowledge..........setting up a RIS server.....do these images have to be made with computers with the same exact hardware? ............im studying my 70-270 exam book but it doesnt go into detail
I can't say anything for sure, but I don't think so. When you set up the images, you ought to be able to put drivers from all the different computers, and it will install them if the computer uses that specific hardware. Again, I don't know that for sure, but it would make sense...
I suggest you look here for people who've actually done this before.

I was asking one of our guys at work about this and while he wasn't positive, he was pretty sure that you wopuld be able to load up the drivers within the image and be able to do what you're wanting to accomplish.
