Default Safely remove drive C after mobo driver upgrade ?

I recently just purchased a new computer and it has an ASUS A8N5X mobo. After installing windows with the current drivers i had i went to the nvidia site to get the latest forceware drivers for the motherboard. Once i installed the drivers i rebooted and everything popped up fine as it detected USB ports etc. The one thing i did notice however is now in the bottom right hand corner of my desktop it has an icon for "safely removing hardware". If i click on it i see that it shows "Drive C:" listed along with what i am guessing is the model number for my hard drive. I have a 160GB Wester Digital SATA.

The computer itself runs fine however looking at that icon for awhile has me trying to think of a way to get rid of it. Obviously i don't want to remove my drive C: and i am also wondering why my computer is reading it as hardware to be safely removed after i updated my motherboard drivers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

P.C. The mobo uses the nforce 4 chipset.

SATA hard drive are hot-swapable, so any SATA hard drive will cause that icon to pop up. There's a simple way to remove it, though I don't remember what it is right now...
