    Question Problems with CAPP.exe

    I need help with a problem I am having....everytime i go to shut my computer down, it says that CAPP.exe is closing and then it says select "end now". my computer doesn't shut down without this sequence and then it doesn't shut down at all, i have to do a hard reboot. what do i do? can anyone help, please!

    Do a simple google search of capp.exe. Withoout digging too deep it looks to me like you have a trojan with an attitude. Maybe try A2 to see what it comes up with.

    thanks for the reply. i's called CCAPP.exe and it's an NIS file with Norton antivirus, but i just can't figure out how to resolve the problem. your recco didn't work. any other ideas?
