Default need help with system error "autolt error"

i think i know how i did it just cant figure out how to fix with out a reinstall...i ran regcleaner the otherday and since then have been getting this error:
    Autolt Error:

    Line 0 ( file "cL\windows\system\firewall.exe")

    $seconds=$timeanddate(10)
    $seconds=^error

error: array variable incorrect number of subscripts dimensions range exceeded

im thinking i might have deleted windows firewall regestry. becuse the only firewall i know of on this system is windows firewall, meaning i have no 3rd party filewall installed.but any help would be great. im running windows xp sp2 and system specs are in sig, let me know if anyfuther info is needed to help me with this, im on this forum often..

note: i checked event viewer in xp and found no log of this error

Hmmm... normally the Windows Knowledge Base has most of the available error codes listed and what you can do to fix them, but there are no results for your error. Since it is regarding the firewall, can you go into the Control Panel and make sure that the Windows Firewall is disabled? This is the only thing I can come up with at the moment.

yea i thought of that....went and disabled it and still the same result....it bugs me becuse it boots me out of games and programs when the error apperes......im thinking a reinstall might be in order....what part of texas you from?.....san antonio here

note: i did just change it so that the system does NOT monitor the firewall...i had it set to off but by not monitoring it maybe it will do away with that error....will update if it works

first of all, windows firewall isn't a separate exe. secondly none of the winxp system files are in C:\windows\system. they are in C:\windows\system32. so... my guess is that it's a virus or spyware or adware or anything not associated with windows at all.

didnt think about that but your right.....another thing i noticed is that the widows system32 folder pops up when the computer reboots so maybe it is spy or addware....ill run spybot and my other programs and ill update if it works or helps thanks

    Hi shaggyhobo

    Your system has been compromised,

I had the same error message. It turns out that a autoit based poker bot that I bought on ebay had a virus in it.
    This virus I assume
    http://www.sophos.com/security/analy...ojagentbn.html
downloaded firewall.exe from the virus writers site.
The site that the virus was reprting and saving your keystrokes to is down, that is why you get the error as the firewall.exe cant connect to the virus writers server.

I have contacted this person here
    http://www.afternet.org/content/view/93/32/
and have sent him firewall.exe so he can decompile and see exactly what it does.

    please go to
    http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/trojanscan.asp

to check your system. I had zonealarm and norton scan my system but they let it through. My advice is to get avast av and processguard

    http://www.avast.com/
    http://www.diamondcs.com.au/processguard/
    to fully protect your system
