    I downloaded it from Microsoft. You just need to sign up as a Beta tester, which I have done in the past, and it is a free download. The 3-bit version weighs in at a hefty 3+GB .iso image file and the 64-bit (which is what I am running) weighes in at more than 4GB. You'll need to burn the image to a DVD disk.

    Thanks darth, Unfortunately i don't have a DVD drive, yea i know its pretty bad life without one.

    Im downloading vista right know i want to know would it be bad to put it on my maxtor 80gb 2mb cache hd.

    Would i lose some preformance from vista, also it only took 3hours to download. What should I use to burn vista onto a dvd. I have nero.

    youre not putting it onto your main rig are you?

    yes im puting it on my main rig but on a different hd

    aslo im trying to burn it but it wont work all it dose is burn the file to the dvd. I am using nero and when I try "Make UDF/ISO DVD" it says this

    Be careful. My PC won't even boot with it installed. Make sure you put it on a different drive and be prepared for crappy driver support.

    zaqwsx you don't want to make an ISO disk ... that is what you downloaded. An ISO is a disk image. You now want to turn that image into a disk. Find the option to burn a disk from a disk image.

    i am in vista right know i used alcahole 120% and it work fine know i need drivers for my computer
