    Default XP Install Problem

I have 2 systems running Win XP, 1 is Pro the other is Home editions both are SP2. My problem is that I could install my Hoyle Casino program on the Home unit but could not install it on the Pro unit, when I try nothing happens the disk shows up and I can display it's contents and click on the SETUP file it does not continue. Any ideas?

Just an idea: Are you using an administrator account or a restricted user account on the XP Pro system? I've never used multiple user configurations on my systems so I could be out to lunch but I do know that users can be locked out of installing programs. Is it possible that you are running into restricted user limits?

there's no reason why it shouldn't run on pro except for rights or some other weird problem.

what does the event viewer say?
