Thread: Vista ultimate or premium?

    Default Vista ultimate or premium?

Vista ultimate or premium?<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!-- google_ad_section_start -->I have xp pro on one of my machines and want to change to vista but I want to know if premium is worth it or should I go with ultimate? I have ultimate on my main machine and love it. My only reason is that I have a vista home premium disc that I have and it is fully legal but was wondering what the main difference would be. I seem to find it is very similar except for remote desktop which I think is important because I am networked. What would you do?

You can install Premium on that PC without using the COA and get 30 days to test drive it before needing to enter the key and activating it. I use Ultimate on my main PC and Premium on my HTPC and have yet to really notice the difference.

The only real differences between Ultimate and the others is the Ultimate Extras. Such as Dreamscene and Bitlocker. I am not so sure about Bitlocker, that may be able to be used in others.

Dreamscene was a Ultimate only thing, but stardock has overcome that now for any version with DeskScapes

I have ultimate and love it!

I had Home prem, and only upgrade to ultimate because I wanted 64 bit and got a good deal!

Either one will work since their is not a ton of differences between the 2.

    Should like either!!
