What kind of AVI file? a movie rip/divx or what? I'm asking because I've seen some AVI files that were movie rips with full Dolby AC3 audio on them which needed a special codec to be installed for them to run [that codec i don't think is part of the Nimo or Tsunami packs]. I think you can grab it from:

well, i used the divx program for a while and it was ok but a little unstable on my computer. However, the last avi i tired brought media player, as it's still set to do, but instead of stiopping it right away like i have been doing I let it run. It downloaded a codec, successfullly, and now all my .avi's run on media player, even the divx one's. yea!!!

It amuses me to think of all the dumb oaf's out there who have downloaded porn and then get extremely frustrated when they can't figure out how to get them to play....
