    Question Windows chkdsk on boot

    I`m having a problem with windows boot, every time it boots(three days by now), it goes through chkdsk procedure.
    Any ideas as to why and how to get it fixed?( I have scanned the system for malware with no results)

    Thanks <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_134203-->

    It Could be that your Hard Drive has developed a problem and Id be backing up important Documents NOW. Download Seagate Seatools Seagate Registration - SeaTools Disc Diagnostic , burn it to cd and boot it when your computer starts and do a full scan on your drive. If it passes the full scan then we can look at a windows thing, But Id say your drive is dying.

    I have had this problem with an HP 2 days ago, nothing that I would change, of the components would help.
    It turned out to be the BIOS had a selection which seems it wanted to load RAID instead of IDE. once I changed that in the BIOS it was fine.
