    I would prefer to keep my 3.5 floppy drive its useful for backing up stuff.

    You probably find a setting in BIOS that you can turn off searching the floppy drive on startup but leave the floppy working. :smokin:

    Enter the BIOS and go to "BIOS Setup Features" and take the floopy out of the boot sequence plus disable "Floppy Drive Seek". So long as you don't disable the Floppy Drive Controller (or FDC or FDD Controller, name varies with some BIOS's) in "Intergrated Peripherals" then you'll still be able to use it. :smokin:
