Default Windows 7 RC to Final Release Version (Pro)

I know that there is no 'upgrade' path from RC to Retail Windows 7. Can anbody out there tell me if it will be possible to 're-install' the full version of Windows 7 (Home or Pro) over the top of RC, without having to reformat & clean install?

I love Windows 7 RC. It's so much better than Vista 64. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that after purchasing the full version of Windows 7 Pro it will be simple update to full version. I'd prefer not having to back everything up prior to loading up ther full version. Then agai, if a 'clean install' is required, hopefully it will be hassle free & save the RC OS under "windows old" folder.

I'd appreciate any info anyone has. I've had a look on Microsoft, but everything relates to "no upgrade" from RC.

    Thanks

Actually, I'd like to know this too if I can upgrade to the full release or do I need to do a clean install?

Or could you just buy the retail license and then download updates that'll fill in what's missing or what was fixed in the retail version of 7?

From what I have been hearing, there is no upgrade path from RC to retail. Something may come up soon, but I haven't heard of it yet.

You will want a clean install due to beta drivers, and updates.

That's what I was figuring but I thought too bad they can't just have you update drivers and such in updates and all and just buy the retail license.. oh well lol.
