    Default How do I reduce the number of processes running in the task window?

    I'd also like to remove the open programs running at the bottom right of my screen and have they not come back. I don't want to delete the program; I just don't want it running all the time in the background.

    For any services running in the background that are not needed.

    Also check out "Autoruns" software. Specifically the login tab and untick the undesirable auto run software
