    Hello,

How does the article about the keychanger and the part about the activation relate to xp professional.

There is no activation procedure here, is there ?

    Thanks and greetings,
    Rel

Yes, but I have a sort of a pirated version of xp prof.
I used a key I read about that it is known as an illegal one (starting with FC..). (Is this what they mean with the "corporate key" ??)
This key should generate an ID on wich SP1 can not be installed.

How should I act to make it possible to install the sp ?

Hope to hear from you all,
    Rel

Haven't you read the article at TweakTown yet? Here's the URL. Good luck.

I did read the article. But when they come to speak about activation, it seems to me that it is about xp home edition.

How does it work for xp Professional without the activation feature ??

    Thanks and greets,

There is no Corporate version of XP, there is the Pro version, which can also handle, like all Windows programs, a VLK (Volume Licence Key) or in otherwords a corporate key, that doesn't need to run through the activation process....

So the keychanger uses this corporate (vlk) keys wich I can use for xp pro without activation, but will make it possible to install SP1 ??
(it will change the "known invalid key" (FCK...) into, for SP1, "valid key")
