    A friend of mine have a small lan, connected by a router and he doesn´t want windows to connect to internet. How he can connect manually, when he wants?

    Remove the default gatewat setting on the NIC is the only sure way I think.
    Or go into Internet Explorer options, and put in a make up a proxy server that doesnt exist (ie just type 'fakeproxy' on port 80 or something. That way all LAN functions work fine (you can even access web pages on the LAN by choosing 'Bypass proxy server for local...') but you cant go on the internet, unless you change it back.

    Anyone got a better idea?

    With Lynksys you can make these type of adjustments directly at the router. Check you documentation.:devil:
