Default Windows 7 and folder Rating system

Hi all, i using windows 7 enterprise and i have managed to view my folder in "detail" mode, so you are able to view the following coloumns:

    Name
    Date modified
    Type
    Rating

The thing is that the rating column has 5 empty stars. I am trying to fill them in by clicking with my mouse (as you would usually do) but nothing happends.

any idea on how to fill in the stars? do i need a special program?

    cheers!
